Imagine…

Somewhere in Los Angeles, your hilarious article is passed around the office of a reality TV production company and people start joking with each other with terms you made up.

Right now there’s a girl in high school somewhere in New York who is about to make the biggest mistake of her life, that is until she reads your article.

Whether your writing inspires a woman to try a new way of meeting men, or inspires the man she’ll meet to wear a gallon less cologne, this site is your opportunity to speak to the world. As a writer of this site you are given the opportunity to entertain, influence, inform, and to connect with people all over the world. The Bathroom Door Rule covers all levels and types of interpersonal relationships. Feel free to write on any topic associated with meeting people, attraction, dating, relationships, marriage, sex, and the sort. Currently the site is broken up into four separate sections, all needing unique writers.

Section #1: Articles

The only consistent thing with the articles is that they are usually about a page in length, although they range from half a page to half a dozen. An article can be an essay type synopsis on a given subject or just a personal rant. If you want to write an article about the divorce rate or why you think bars are the worst place to meet people, perfect. There is no real limitation to article topics as long as they deal in some way with interpersonal relationships (Or the lack there of.)

Section #2: Quickies

The quickies are short answers to given questions that are posted under each question topic.
Get more information on quickies HERE.

Section #3: He said, she said

In this section two articles of opposing views are posted for the readers. At the completion of writing the article, the author is given the opposing author’s article. Each writer is then able to write a one paragraph response that will be posted at the bottom of that new article. At the bottom of each “He said, She said” topic is a rating section where the audience can decide who won the debate as well as a forum link so the battle can live on.
See examples of “He said, She said” topics HERE.

Section #4: Advice

In this section writers give advice to people who write in. At this time no sample section is available but if you are interested in writing for the advice column portion of the site please note that in an e-mail to our editor-in-chief HERE
