I met my wife using Matchmaker.com.
At the time, they had your matches shown with stars. The more stars the better the match. You could go through the list quickly and eliminate anyone with less than a 3 star match.
My wife and I were a 4 star match, something I had never seen before and we sure were a match.
Celebrating our 3rd anniversary.

I had used other sites but you had to read the whole profile and try to determine how compatible you were which took hours.

My friend at church met a woman on E-Harmony and they got married 2 years ago. He was single and 45 and she was divorced and 46. I know alot of people don’t like all the questions and the limited number of matches the site sends you. I am 33 and am still young so I personally prefer a “dating” website over a relationship matching website. However, if you are looking for long term committment and (here’s the catch) you don’t have ultra high expectations, which most Americans believe they are entitled to, then this website will pair you with good people.
